| Left- and right-brain aligned, I have never truly fit into any boxes. As far as the career path is concerned, I've taken an a-linear approach - from contemporary dance movement & performance art to non-profit fundraising to business and sustainability. My thru-line? The ability to connect seemingly unrelated ideas - think holistically - and analyze people and business problems with a unique eye. I see under the surface. I am a design thinker. I analyze everything - I'm a Libra. I strive to intersect art and design and business, making an artistic choice strategic and a business idea creatively dynamic. I want to connect the two worlds through design thinking, a process for practical, creative resolution of problems or issues that looks for an improved future result. It is the essential ability to combine empathy, creativity and rationality to meet user needs and drive business success.1 I can filter/transform/express the language of the designer to match the prowess of the business client. I can interact with an array of stakeholders. I refuse to choose a box, a category, and identify myself as one or the other.
